wróć...Nationwide Art Contest – create illustrations for a Museum publication

The Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism kindly invites young people aged 13-17 to take part in the Nationwide Art Contest for illustrations to the publication entitled “Ukrywaj się w promieniach” (“Hide in the rays”).

The participants are inspired by the story of children imprisoned in the German camp on Przemysłowa Street in Łódź during World War II. The task of the contest is to prepare original illustrations that will become part of the publication currently prepared by the Museum.

The best works will be published in the book entitled “Ukrywaj się w promieniach” (“Hide in the rays”). The organizer additionally offers non-cash prizes, certificates, and museum publications to the winners and honourable mentions.

A maximum of 6 illustrations made with the following techniques can be submitted to the contest:

- traditional techniques,

- digital ones,

- mixed ones.

Key dates:

Submission deadline for entries: July 17, 2026.
Announcement of the contest results: July 24, 2026.

Presentation of awards and opening of the post-contest exhibition: September 11, 2026 at the Museum.
