National Recovery Plan for Culture

Loga Krajowego Planu Odbudowy i Unii Europejskiej.

Last year, we became a beneficiary of funding under the National Recovery Plan for Culture. Thanks to the funds received, an innovative website featuring modern technological solutions was created. Additionally, we purchased devices for displaying VR content.

The task completed with the support of the National Recovery Plan was the creation of an innovative website incorporating advanced technological solutions. The newly developed website will serve as an educational tool for the educators of the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism. It will allow us to share knowledge with students about the history of the German camp for Polish children at Przemysłowa Street, using VR-based educational materials.

To accomplish this task, we purchased VR equipment consisting of:

  • high-resolution goggles with built-in headphones,

  • ergonomically designed controllers.

The main goal of the completed project was to prepare an innovative educational offer consisting of VR materials integrated with both the current and the newly developed website of the Museum. The actions undertaken with the support of the National Recovery Plan will contribute to the development of the Museum’s educational team.

These are further initiatives carried out with funding from the European Union. The first projects supported in this way were: the 2nd Scientific Conference titled “Childhood in Wartime. Polish Children under German Occupation 1939–1945”, organized by the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism, and the 4th Reunion of Survivors of the Camp at Przemysłowa Street.
