back...Museum Night 2024

You are cordially invited to the Museum Night, which will take place on 18 May 2024. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Museum's headquarters at ul. Piotrkowska 90. Participants will be able to take part in a walk around the site of the former camp on Przemyslowa Street, visit exhibitions and watch films produced by the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism.

Those wishing to attend the event are kindly requested to sign up via email: nocmuzeow@muzeumdziecipolskich.pl or call 797 595 091. Registration until 17 May.

Places are limited - participation is on a “first-come, first-served” basis. Admission to the Museum for those aged 12 and over.

18.00 - 19.30              Educational walk around the site of the former German concentration camp for Polish children on Przemysłowa Street in Łódź

Film screening at the headquarters of the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism in the audiovisual room on the 2nd floor:

18.00 - 19.30              Film titled “Nie poznałam Ciebie syneczku - historia Jurka Rutkowskiego” (“I didn't recognize you, my son - a story of Jurek Rutkowski”)

19.30 - 21.00              Film titled "Skradziona tożsamość – polskie dzieci wojny” (“Stolen identity - Polish children of war”)

21.00 - 22.30              German documentary entitled “Geheime Reichssache Kinderlager - Schicksale in Polen”

18.00 - 22.30              Tour of the multimedia exhibition entitled “Mamo, czemu nie przyjeżdżasz? Listy dzieci z obozu na Przemysłowej” (“Mom, why haven’t you come yet? Letters of children from the camp on Przemysłowa Street”) (1st floor)

18.00 - 22.30              Tour of the exhibition entitled “Byliśmy tylko dziećmi. Gehenna polskich dzieci w czasie II wojny światowej i po jej zakończeniu” (“We were just children. Gehenna of Polish children during and after World War II”) (4th floor)
