The staff of the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism invite you on December 1, 2022, to participate in events entitled “To the memory of the children from the camp on Przemysłowa Street” organized in connection with the 80th anniversary of the Nazi German concentration camp for Polish children in Łódź on Przemysłowa Street.
Program of events:
Educational walk on the site of the former camp on Przemysłowa Street
Start at 12:00 pm
Gathering place – at the Monument to the Martyrdom of Children in the Szare Szeregi [Gray Ranks] Park in Łódź
Duration: 120 minutes.
Speakers: Jolanta Sowińska-Gogacz, Michał Hankiewicz.
Lectures at the seat of the Museum of Polish Children – Victims of Totalitarianism in Łódź, 90 Piotrkowska Street
5:00 pm – A lecture on the crew of the camp on Przemysłowa Street.
Duration: 90 minutes.
Speakers: Jolanta Sowińska-Gogacz, dr Agnieszka Fronczek-Kwarta.
7:30 pm – A lecture on the history of the former camp inmate Gertrude Nowak and the Museum’s publication “Niezwykła polska rodzina. Losy Gertrudy Nowak – dziecka z obozu na Przemysłowej” [“An extraordinary Polish family. The fate of Gertruda Nowak – a child from the camp on Przemysłowa Street”].
Duration: 90 minutes.

Participation in the events is free of charge, subject to availability, first come first served. To sign up for the event of your choice, please fill out the form attached below.
