Redevelopment and adaptation of the commandant’s building (Verwaltung), construction and conservation work on the former camp post office and landscaping of the grounds at ul. Przemysłowa 34, Łódź – continuation

The initiative has been co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage through a dedicated investment grant of PLN 4 118 000,00.

The project’s objectives are: 

– to carry out construction and installation work on the former commandant’s building and camp post office, and to develop the grounds of the property at ul. Przemysłowa 34, Łódź,

– to launch a design competition for the permanent exhibition to be housed in the redeveloped buildings,

– to create and install the permanent exhibition within the redeveloped spaces. 

The completion of this investment will provide the necessary infrastructure for the Museum’s permanent exhibition and support the fulfilment of its core statutory duties: to conduct exhibition, cultural, academic and educational activities aimed at sharing knowledge about the tragic fate of the children imprisoned in the German Nazi camp for Polish children.
